MOMENTUM Online Coaching Experience

COACHING & LESSONS

Whether you're looking for private and group riding lessons or coaching at your show, we've got you covered.

When you take riding lessons at Hayes Cofell Performance Horses, you’ll walk away with improved skills. Our goal for every lesson is to make a little bit of progress that builds with each ride.  You’ll also gain an increased understanding of how your body position influences your horse. You’ll learn about training philosophies, equine psychology and how to ride your horse to improve things like self-carriage, neck reining and engaging the hindquarters.

Lindsay’s unique skill in illustrating concepts and ideas to her students is one reason our students love coming here for lessons! She’s recognized for her own beautiful equitation and for empowering her students with knowledge of their own body parts as they relate to communicating with their horse.

When you understand how these things are connected, you’ll become the rider you’ve always wanted to be—one that rides confidently and with finesse on any horse, any time, anywhere.

Your horse is here for training and you want specialized coaching directly from the trainer? No problem. Jess is always up for helping you improve your skills to get the most from your horse. He might even push you out of your comfort zone too.

We Have A Place for You

While we specialize in reining, cowhorse events and ranch riding for NRHA and AQHA competition, we also coach green (beginner) riders and riders coming back to horses after a significant amount of time away. All riders start in a private lesson and are moved to a group when they can perform all three gaits and steer safely with other horses in the arena.

We love getting to watch our students progress in their riding. Not every student has the desire to compete, and that’s just fine with us. We’ll never pressure you to show if its not your thing. Some students enjoy testing their skills through additional clinics, trail riding or Dude Ranch Adventures!

"Before I started taking lessons with Lindsay and Jess I had ridden only a handful of times. Because of a few unfortunate experiences, I decided that riding probably wasn’t in my future. Fast forward 6 years and, thanks to their patience, guidance, knowledge, expertise and amazing horses, I'm riding at a level I didn’t think I was capable of."
